The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for Program Implementation Manager Clinical Studies! This position can be remote/home based but must live near a major airport.
This is a full time, benefits eligible, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on June 2025.

Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day site recruitment and management activities for an American Heart Association - sponsored clinical trial (www.changeAfib.org). The implementation manger will identify, build, nurture, and manage relationships to recruit participating sites to achieve respective study goals. Additionally, the implementation manager will execute critical portions of study implementation, site onboarding, training, and overall management of participating study sites. This role will, regularly, liaise with site investigators and site study teams so should have experience working with key through leaders and clinical teams. The successful individual will work independently, have positive relationship cultivation skills, strong project management skills and is results oriented.
Recruit hospitals and health systems; be responsible for contracting and activation process. Facilitate as key contact communication between participating hospitals, and clinical research study sponsor
Mange study volunteer committees, including PI and Coordinator learning collaboratives
Develop and deliver education and training materials to study hospitals, field staff and other departments
Establish and conduct data monitoring activities within registry tool. This position will continually supervise site patient enrollment volume, data entry, data completion and data quality
Assess clinical research site’s patient recruitment and retention success and offer suggestions for process improvement
Collaborate and connect with appropriate teams at hospitals, coordinators, clinical research physicians, and clinical research staff. Establish coordinated clinical research processes using programs
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Four (4) – Five (5) years of proven experience
Experience in clinical trials site management, at the participating site and/or sponsor level
Experience and proven record of account management and sales success
Ability to interact and engage with C-Suite, ideally in healthcare setting
Experience speaking publicly and presenting clinical leaders and large audiences
Project Management skills (multi-tasking, timeline/deadline driven, work prioritization)
Proven experience with Excel
Ability to travel up to 30% local and overnight stay
