The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for an Application Analyst in our Business Technology departmentlocatedat our National Center office located in Dallas, TX .
With minimal supervision, responsible for technical management and administration of AHA’s business technology applications (operating on internal or cloud platforms, such as Services as a Software (SaaS) applications). Responsible for data analysis, troubleshooting, training and documenting best practices. Also, responsible for building and managing relationship(s) with application vendor(s) to receive support as needed.
Essential Job Duties
Provides analysis and administration of assigned application(s) on Microsoft Operating System or web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) application(s) across AHA. Assigned application(s) may include SharePoint, Blackbaud, NationBuilder, etc.
Provides tier 3 service and support through Service Request Management for assigned application(s).
Oversees security access and administration for users.
Plans and organizes application implementation projects Troubleshoots and conducts technical analysis to resolve problems with assigned application(s).
Conducts quality assurance and testing during upgrade releases and ensures the AHA customization remains intact. Identifies and resolves issues with new code or releases Identifies and documents assigned application best practices.
Analyzes data and reports to ensure application data quality. Leads Power User Group to ensure business understanding and user alignment with assigned application best practices and standards.
Provides training to users and lower level application analysts. Escalates issues and concerns to next level Application Analyst or application vendor to resolve issues or needs of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree or appropriate certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area, or equivalent work experience
