Responsibilities

The Director is responsible for researching, configuring and executing annual digital fundraising campaign, as well as, driving implementation of short- and long-term marketing plans for the integrated annual campaign. Responsible for analyzing digital fundraising trends, identifying opportunities to engage donors in effective and innovative direct fundraising strategies, and creating and implementing fundraising campaigns across all digital platforms. Also, responsible for developing and leveraging digital resources to expand AHA’s donor base.

  • Plans, designs, and executes digital fundraising brand awareness, donor acquisition, engagement and retention by overseeing digital activities such as email campaigns, advertising, and related digital platforms. Designs, creates and implements a direct response digital fundraising model to leverage key digital platforms for the enhancement and growth of donor revenue.

  • Drives the creation and execution of annual communications plan, regional demand generation plan, including integrated marketing programs/initiatives, associated budget, and achievement of performance metrics. Researches marketing and digital engagement trends to align AHA’s mission with stakeholders who will participate in digital direct fundraising opportunities.

  • Drives the creation and execution of annual communications plan, regional demand generation plan, including integrated marketing programs/initiatives, associated budget, and achievement of performance metrics.   • Maximizes Search Engine Optimization opportunties to increase digital footprint in donor interaction and engagement. Analyzes alternatives and makes recommendations for integrating digital platforms to effectively and efficiently grow revenue. Develops digital interaction and on-line response campaigns and data collection to expand and improve donor traffic.

  • Leads projects as business partner to facilitate development and implementation of systems which will provide technology and leverage digital platforms. Develops and executes project timelines and action plans. Negotiates and contracts with external contractors, vendors and consultants. Evaluates and provides updates and metrics reports to team members, senior leadership, volunteers and sponsors.

  • Designs measures and reports to demonstrate accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and track overall increases in revenue and attainment of goals. Collects, analyzes and presents campaign data to evaluate and improve processes and establish sustainable models for predictive success.

Qualifications

B achelor's degree or equivalent experience

5-8 years of expereince in the following areas:

  • Extensive experience in e-commerce, online/digital fund raising, direct response marketing campaigns or related interactive customer relationship management

  • Sales or fundraising experience including identifying and building successful partnerships and business relationships

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital communications, interactive media, and customer insight analysis and trendin

  • Experience or comprehensive understanding of non-profit environment

  • Ability to meet and build beneficial relationships with all levels of AHA staff, vendors, and external stakeholders such as volunteers or representatives of partner organizations

  • Ability to build and adhere to both strategic and tactical plans

  • Ability to analyze and interpret relevant data and use interpretations in the development of campaign models
