American Heart Association Project Coordinator in Dallas, Texas

Due to the current pandemic, daily travel is minimal and voluntary to ensure the health and safety of staff. There is no overnight travel currently. In the future, this position may resume daily and/or overnight travel. All AHA offices are closed and staff are currently working from home. Offices will be reopening in October 2021; this position will resume to being based in the local office.

Responsibilities

The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator in our Professional Memberships group located at our National Center office in Dallas, TX .

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide continuing support on Microsoft Dynamics CRM (training, running reports, testing system when enhancement are made, serve as the lead for reporting system issues, creating job aids and posting on the OSO Resource SharePoint site, working closely with Dynamics technical team, attend CRM monthly training and support meeting.

  • Update and maintain onboarding job aids.

  • Manage the Conflict of Interest process in the Convey system.

  • Meeting preparation support.

  • Provide operational support to team and director, and others who manage OSO committees outside of a Council.

  • Assist with National committee nomination process.

  • Maintain organizational charts for OSO.

  • Assist with recording In-Kind council committee contributions.

  • Assist with on boarding new hires.

  • Monitor and ensure that council committee lists are accurate in Professional Heart Daily.

  • Assist with updating the Council Resource Manual in Professional Heart Daily, as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related professional experience involving administrative or project management work.

  • Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to be pro-active.
