American Heart Association Digital Fundraising Manager in Dallas, Texas

The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Fundraising Manager, Direct Response for Direct Response Operations . This position can be home based.

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of monthly digital fundraising campaigns across omnichannel digital platforms including email, organic social, paid media and website. Supports achieving direct response overall annual revenue and performance goals. Manages agency relationships to deliver and deploy campaigns with excellence and accuracy. Continuously analyzing fundraising (on and offline) trends, as well as identifying opportunities to engage donors in effective and innovative direct fundraising strategies. Also, responsible for developing and leveraging marketing and digital resources to expand Association’s donor base.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates development and implementation of monthly omnichannel fundraising communications and campaigns including email, website, paid and organic social media, digital display, and video.

  • Develops and executes project timelines and action plans. Manages ad agency relationships to ensure on-time accurate delivery and deployment of all campaign assets. Collaborates with internal and external partners across departments, contractors, vendors and consultants.

  • Researches marketing and on/off-line engagement trends to stay current and remain competitive in Association’s category. Align with stakeholders, tools and resources for application to digital or direct response fundraising opportunities.

  • Gathers content from across the organization to inform campaign input briefs for the agency

  • Uses tracking and reporting tools across digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Sprinklr and SFMC/Marketing Cloud

  • Designs measures and reports to demonstrate accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and track overall increases in revenue and attainment of goals. Evaluates and provides updates and metrics reports to team members, senior leadership, and business leads. Collects, analyzes and presents campaign data to evaluate and improve processes and establish sustainable models for predictive success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications or related area

  • Five (5) years of the following experience:

  • Experience in online/digital marketing, direct response marketing campaigns or related interactive customer relationship management

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital communications, interactive media, and customer insight analysis and trending

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and opportunities

  • Ability to self-direct daily activities and set priorities

  • Three (3) years of the following experience:

  • Experience in hands-on use of Customer Management platforms including Luminate and/or Salesforce for execution, tracking and measurement

  • Experience or comprehensive understanding of non-profit environments

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

  • Ability to meet and build beneficial relationships with all levels of Association staff, vendors, and external stakeholders such as volunteers or representatives of partner organizations

  • Ability to build and adhere to both strategic and tactical plans

  • Ability to analyze and interpret relevant data and use interpretations in the development of campaign models

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and opportunities

  • Ability to self-direct daily activities and set priorities

  • Non-Profit fundraising, political fundraising is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range will be $80,000 to $100,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. This position is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets.
