The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Salesforce Reporting Specialist for our Center of Development Operations. This position will work a hybrid schedule (2 to 3 days a week in a local market office) and is flexible in its location .

The Expected pay range will be $55,000 - $60,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.

Responsibilities

The Salesforce Reporting Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining user-facing dashboards and reports within Salesforce to support data-driven decision-making. This role works closely with internal teams to translate business needs into actionable visualizations, ensuring accuracy and usability of key performance data. Over time, this role will also support cross-departmental reporting to provide senior leadership with insights that reflect broader fundraising performance across the organization.

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports using the native report builder and filtering tools.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in dashboards by validating field-level information and understanding object relationships.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver custom reporting solutions aligned to organizational priorities.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a unified reporting framework capable of providing cross-departmental insights and performance metrics to senior leadership. Includes documenting report definitions and preparing for future data integrations across teams.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience (a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for up to 3 years of experience)

  • Two (2) years of the following experience:

  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM

  • Strong understanding of CRM data models and object relationships

  • Ability to translate business needs into visual data

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data analytics, business administration, marketing, or a related field

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning dashboards

  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools

  • Experience in a nonprofit or fundraising environment

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification

Compensation & Benefits
